Hello Gerald - re. 'wooden false wood'. No enigma. No paradox. Me making a mistake. It's a false roof or ceiling(though there's probably a better word than either) below the brick arch of the tunnel.
Hello Andy. The lighting in the tunnel picture - I posted it as it came out of the camera because it looked mysterious. One can achieve greater clarity by post-editing - but that spoils it.
