Sorry to hear that you are not going to post photos until the weather improves. I check your blog every day. I don't always leave a comment but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy your photos. Have a Happy New Year and keep on clicking well into 2013 and beyond.

Thanks Andy. Thanks for letting me know you visit regularly and that you enjoy the pictures. It's maddening, this rain. It was raining when I woke up. It's still raining more than five hours later. It rained yesterday. It rained the day before. I don't think I've known anything like it. And in the brief times when it stops - everything drips. Really not good for cameras!

Hope you have a very happy 2013. I look forward to your photos then too.

If you hadn't said it was a fungus I wouldn't have guessed it.
Happy New Year!

I don't think I have ever seen one of those but I suspect its colouring allows it to blend in so I could have missed hundreds over the years.

Best wishes for the New Year - and lets hope the rain stops soon.

Now you've got me confused Lucy, I don't know where to click first hahaha! How weird is it that you are staying indoors to escape the rain, and here in Perth I'm staying indoors to escape the heat..not today though, first cooler day for a while, loving it!! If I didn't say it before, here's wishing you a very happy and healthy New Year, catch you more often in 2013, take care.

If you had told me this was made of stone, I'd have believed it. We've had quite a bit of rain here as well. Of course that term is a relative thing, because I live in Southern California....
